1. Professional Responsibility & Indemnity
All healthcare professionals on KizMeds are independent licensed practitioners responsible for the medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment they provide.
Each practitioner is required to maintain valid professional indemnity insurance.
KizMeds shall not be liable for medical malpractice, negligence, or professional errors committed by healthcare providers.
Users acknowledge that medical services are delivered solely by independent professionals.
2. Prescription Abuse Policy
KizMeds Prescription & Controlled Substance Policy
2.1 Responsible Prescribing
Prescriptions issued through the Platform must:
- Be medically necessary
- Follow Nigerian medical regulations
- Comply with controlled substance laws
2.2 Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Requesting drugs without medical need
- Attempting to obtain duplicate prescriptions
- Providing false symptoms
- Selling prescribed medication
2.3 Controlled Substances
The Platform may:
- Restrict or prohibit prescribing certain high-risk medications
- Require additional identity verification
- Refuse service where abuse is suspected
2.4 Monitoring
KizMeds reserves the right to:
- Monitor prescription patterns
- Suspend users suspected of abuse
- Report illegal activities to authorities
2.5 Zero Tolerance
Confirmed prescription abuse may result in:
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement
- Legal action
3. Arbitration Clause
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the use of KizMeds shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
- If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration in Nigeria.
- Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator, be confidential, and governed by Nigerian law.
- The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
- Users waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.
